We continue our assistance in developing Wawa stores, and our newest opened in December 2024. Our work for an individual land owner client included delivering a pad site to the Wawa Corporation specifications, and working with their General Contractor to successfully complete the construction.
This project included remediation and demolition of an existing gas station with repair garage, removal of underground storage tanks, and demolition of a 2-story commercial office building. This building was attached to a 1-story building that remained on this property and in use by existing tenants! This required delicate execution so as not to disrupt their operating businesses.
Our focus was on controlling costs and managing a budget while working with architects, engineering firms, numerous government agencies, utilities and contractors, from geotechnical and underground investigations thru various construction segments.
